St. John the Evangelist high school celebrated children’s day on 13th November 2019 as a tribute to India’s first Prime Minister – Mr Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly known as Chacha Nehru, who shared an affectionate relationship with the children.
The staff members did a marvellous job and enthusiastically participated in various events. The Nehru house teachers conducted a meaningful assembly. A wonderful dance was performed by the secondary teachers and the primary teachers sang a beautiful song in their melodious voice. A throwball match was conducted between teachers v/s students and the students were the winners. Game stalls and canteen with a variety of food items were put up by the teachers. The students enjoyed the disco and were very happy about the celebration.
